When a child is living with a life-threatening condition it can feel like their whole life is about their illness.
But they don't stop dreaming.
Four year old James has a dream...
He's always wanted to be a fire fighter.
So we made that wish a reality.
In July 2014 James' parents received the tragic news that their little boy had a tumour growing on his kidney.
James endured intensive chemotherapy. His temperature rocketed and he frequently got infections. A month later, the doctors made the decision to remove his right kidney where the tumour was growing. Finally in October, he was declared in remission.
"It was devastating being told that James had cancer," James's mum Deborah told us. "It was fantastic to see him so happy and it was something that would have never been possible without Make-A-Wish. It was a special day, all about him, but for the right reasons."
We want to make more wishes come true. Will you help?
