How to share your story

We’re always looking for people who are comfortable sharing their experiences so that we can keep granting wishes.

You may want to share a #WishMoment, a memory, a letter, a piece of advice, story or opinion.

How can my story help?

Your story could motivate someone to take on a marathon, to rally together friends for a fundraising event, or to volunteer their time to help our cause.

Real stories, photos and videos from the Make-A-Wish community help people understand what we do, how we do it, why we do it, and how to help. By sharing your story, you can:

  • Help people to understand the power of a wish.
  • Encourage and inspire people to apply for a wish, donate, volunteer or fundraise for wishes.
  • Join our community, get your voice heard and raise awareness of a health condition, topic or issue.

You may want to share a thoughtful quote for a social media post, or send us a photo that we can use on a poster or presentation.

Could you write a blog or letter about your personal experiences, give a talk at a local school, event or organisation or speak on radio or TV about your story?

It all adds up to an important conversation, and it starts with you.

I want to share my story. What happens now?

Here’s how to email, call or write to us.
