Text WISH to 70085 to donate £3 per month
How to share your story
You may want to share a #WishMoment, a memory, a letter, a piece of advice, story or opinion. Or maybe you’re training for an event or fundraising for us?
How can my story help?
Our supporters have told us that stories about our wishes motivate them to keep going – whether they’re pushing themselves in an athletic event, fundraising or volunteering for us.
Real stories, photos and videos from the Make-A-Wish community also show people what we do, how we do it and why we do it. By sharing these, you can:
- Help people to understand the power of a wish.
- Encourage and inspire people to apply for a wish, donate, volunteer or fundraise for wishes.
- Join our community, get your voice heard and raise awareness of a health condition.
You may want to share a thoughtful quote that we can amplify on our social media media channels or send us a photo that we can use on a poster or presentation.
Could you write a blog or letter about your personal experiences, give a talk at a local school, event or organisation or speak on radio or TV about your story?
It all adds up to an important conversation, and it starts with you.
