How to share your story
Real stories, photos and videos from the Make-A-Wish community help people understand what we do, why we do it, and how other people can support our work.
They help us fundraise, increase awareness of some medical conditions and inform people about the impact of childhood illnesses in general, and the impact that a wish can have.
We’re always looking for people to share their experiences, in their own words, in a way that suits them.
You could share a #WishMoment, a memory, a letter, a piece of advice, a picture, video, story or opinion.
You could explain how a wish gave your family hope, happiness or brought you all together.
You could inspire others with information about what motivated you to fundraise or to volunteer for us.
A member of our content team will then give you a call to talk this through - and say thank you!
Where might your story feature?
- Your story could be hosted on our website, on our social media channels, on a poster or in a presentation.
- It could be used by our corporate partners to explain how businesses can support our work or in the media.
- You could also give a (virtual) talk to a school, at an event or to an organisation, or speak on radio or TV about your involvement with Make-A-Wish.
It all adds up to raising awareness of what we do. But it's your choice and your voice.
