Hi, I’m Sophia. I'm 18 years old and from Swale in Kent. In 2021 at 14 I was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia, which then went into lymphoid blast-crisis. After having chemotherapy, radiotherapy and a bone marrow transplant I was offered a wish.

For my wish I went to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the West End, which involved meeting the cast as well as other fun experiences.

I joined STARboard because I saw it as an extremely fulfilling opportunity to not only raise awareness, but also give back to the charity that has given me and so many others such a positive experience.
