Molly

Hi! I’m Molly, I’m 17 years old and I’m from Watford.

Just before I was about to start year 7 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia at 11 years old. I had treatment throughout the COVID lockdown and had to be in isolation a lot which was quite challenging.

In 2024, I was granted my wish to go to the British Grand Prix. My family and I spent the whole weekend at the racetrack and I got to meet so many incredible people, such as Pierre Gasly. The memories I made on my wish will always stay with me and I am forever grateful for the experience Make-A-Wish and Formula 1 gave to me.

By being on STARboard I hope to help make sure that other wish children continue to get the best experience possible from their wish and to make the entire process smooth and easy. As well as supporting Make-A-Wish in this way, I will also be running the 2026 TCS London Marathon where I will be raising money for the charity. I am incredibly excited to do this and it makes me so proud that I’m representing a charity that is so important and does so much incredible work.
