Frances

Hi! I’m Frances, I’m 16 and I’m from Peterborough. I have a muscle weakening condition which prevents me from walking and doing everyday tasks meaning I use a wheelchair. 

I really love listening to rock music and going to concerts. 

My wish was to see the band Queens of the Stone Age in a box live at the O2 which was an incredible show. I am so grateful that Make-A-Wish could grant this as I find it hard to attend some concerts because of accessibility. 

Joining STARboard has meant that my confidence levels have increased with publicly speaking and I have made some really great friends. I would say my skills are my positivity, my resilience and patience.

For me, being a member of STARboard has meant that I can give back to the charity. My aim is to spread awareness about Make-A-Wish so that every child gets the wish that they deserve.
