Sell your stars

More than 60,000* children in the UK have been diagnosed with a critical condition, changing their lives and the lives of their families forever. For them, the joy of childhood is brought to an abrupt end, with treatment plans, hospital visits and sleepless nights taking over.

The power of a wish revives a childhood stolen by critical illness. It brings light and joy to children and their loved ones and leaves a profound and lasting impact on all their lives.

But we can’t be that light for everyone. It takes an army of volunteers, fundraisers, community support and donations to help these children feel like children again.

So, we’re asking for your help...

What was your motivation to get involved?

"I have heard a lot about the wishes that Make-A-Wish grant, and the huge impact they can have on the children and their families. Make-A-Wish have made it their mission to reach every eligible child and I wanted to be a part of making that happen, so the Sell Your Stars campaign was perfect as I could combine my love for crocheting with fundraising for an amazing charity."

How are you selling your stars?

"In lockdown I learnt how to Crochet and set up a small business selling crocheted toys and cards. I thought this would be a perfect way to sell my stars and have decided to crochet Christmas baubles including star shaped ones and round ones with stars on them."
