Can I sell my own stars?

Absolutely! We will send you out a FREE fundraising pack when you register, and this will have stars ready to go in, but please feel free to put your creative talents to use and sell your own stars.

If you need any more ideas please head here.

How do I set up my fundraising page and receive a fundraising pack?

Simply fill in our fundraising registration form and let us know that you'd like to Sell Your Stars and support Make-A-Wish. Our Fundraising Team with then help you get set up and will support you every step of your fundraising journey.

Where can I find resources to help me promote my fundraising?

You will be sent you out a fundraising pack complete with your Stars once you have registered your fundraising.

You can also use our online downloadable resources to show that you are fundraising for Make-A-Wish.

And remember to share your creations by tagging @MakeAWishUK on most socials, or the hashtag #LightUpTheDarkness

Can Gift Aid be claimed from my fundraising?

Gift Aid makes a huge difference when it comes to how much money we can raise to support critically ill children.

However, when making a donation in return for goods and services (including selling your stars) gift aid cannot be claimed. This is because they are not 'freewill' gifts - this is a payment and you are getting something in return for your donation.

When selling your items, please do keep this in mind.

If any voluntary donations are made, for every £1 raised we can receive an extra 25p at no extra cost to you or your donors. The option to tick Gift Aid will be on your fundraising page when someone goes to donate, or we can provide a sponsorship form which you can use to collect gift aid information.

If I need help with any of the above, where do I go?

We hope the above has answered your questions, but if not you can contact us by giving the team a call on 01276 405060 or by emailing [email protected].
