Walk for Wishes
Take on the Walk for Wishes challenge
Walk 100km this May to help make wishes come true for critically ill children.
More than 60,000 children in the UK have been diagnosed with a critical condition and are eligible for a wish. This number is set to reach over 80,000 by 2030. Granting a critically ill child’s wish has an immediate, lasting impact on them and their family.

Why we need you to Walk for Wishes
Sadly, the number of wish enquiries from seriously ill children with less than a year to live is rising fast. We need your help to meet this urgent demand now - before it’s too late. So, get active this May and make a real difference.
We can’t wait to see you in the group and would love you to invite all your friends and family too - it’s always more fun taking part together.
Your support can make a wish come true now for more children like George...
George was born with half a working heart so his wish to be a Ghostbuster, have a ride in an Ecto-1 car and go ghost hunting was an imaginative escape into a world where the heroes are different and brave – just as he has had to be during three life-saving operations. It was also a positive reminder of all the things he CAN do, when he can’t run around like his friends.
"It’s really made us grateful and feel that we’re not alone. So many people came together to recognise what he’s been through but also what families like us go through. It’s given us something that George will take with him for the rest of his life."
