Groups and associations

There are lots of ways that your club, group or society can help us grant life-changing wishes to some very deserving children.

Organise your own event

Fundraising events are a great way to engage your local community to help us grant more wishes.

We’d love to hear your idea for your own fundraising event – we've had lots of unique events from 24-hour football to danceathons, race nights and even crazy bowls.

Charity of the Year

Does your group select a charity of the year? We’d love you to consider Make-A-Wish.

By choosing us as your charity of the year, any money you raise will help us grant transformational wishes to seriously ill children.

We can provide you with any support you need – including a dedicated fundraising contact and materials like event posters and wish videos.

Request a talk

Are you looking for interesting speakers for a meeting or event? We can talk to you about how wishes are truly life-changing experiences for children fighting critical illnesses and what you can do to help.

Holding a street collection

This can be a great way to raise money, and fantastic for raising awareness.

Get in touch and we can provide you with a letter of authority and collecting tins and stickers, to help you fundraise legally and safely. You'll also need to call your local council for advice and to apply for a collection licence. Please visit our Keeping it Safe and Legal page for more information on public collections.

Start your own local group

Groups can be made up of friends, colleagues, family members, or just a group of like-minded people who want to help us grant life-changing wishes. If you’d like to work with others to put on events in your local area and help a child’s wish become a reality, please get in touch.
