About the Event

The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK.

This picturesque route takes you along the Victoria Embankment and River Trent, passing by Nottingham Castle and the Robin Hood statue. You're bound to see a few deer roaming in Wollaton Park before finishing by the river on Victoria Embankment Recreation ground next. Why not run for Make-A-Wish UK and create lasting memories for a child living with critical illness?

Why run for us in the Robin Hood Half Marathon?

By supporting Make-A-Wish UK and becoming a #WishHero in the Robin Hood Half Marathon 2024, you'll be transforming the lives of children like Elsie from Nottingham. Elsie wished 'to live with fairies in a treehouse' - her wish was made possible because of #WishHeroes like you.

Elsie's wish

"I wish to live with fairies in a treehouse"

Read about Elsie's wish

"Before her wish, I just felt so helpless and bereft about everything she was missing out on. I just feel so content now we’ve had all those experiences. It was a line in the sand moment. I feel so proud of her and what she achieved on the wish and really, really grateful."
