About the Event

The Manchester Half Marathon promises great support and an abundance of entertainment as you pass through the towns of Old Trafford, Stretford & Brooklands. This very flat course is perfect for beginners or those looking to smash a PB, and a lovely 2-mile flat finish brings you out at the Emirates Old Trafford Lancashire County Cricket Club.

By becoming a #WishHero in the 2026 Manchester Half Marathon, you have the power to make a wish come true for a critically ill child, allowing families to create lasting memories that they will treasure forever - no matter what the future holds.

Charity places are SOLD OUT, but if you have your own place, why not run for wishes?

I have my own place!

Why run for us in the Manchester Half Marathon?

By supporting Make-A-Wish UK and becoming a #WishHero in the Manchester Half Marathon 2026, you'll be transforming the lives of children like Ryan. Ryan wished 'to have a Manchester City football experience' and his wish was made possible because of #WishHeroes like you.
