Joshua goes to LEGOLAND®
I just wanted to say thank you to you and to everyone at Make-A-Wish.
We've had the most wonderful weekend at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort and didn't want it to end. Joshua had the time of his life, believe me, you've made a 10-year-old boy very happy. He's been anticipating our trip ever since you booked it for us and it was great from start to finish.

We arrived Friday lunchtime and wasted no time in getting into the park. Joshua earned his LEGO driving licence at the driving school, then we went on the Atlantis submarine ride.
We checked in to the hotel, the boys solved the clues on the puzzle sheet in our room and found some LEGO goodies in the safe!
It was such a treat to have a cooked breakfast the next day! Joshua's not a big breakfast eater, but Adrian, Ben and me tucked in! The boys thoroughly enjoyed their ‘Model Maker’ day, the LEGO staff were so good with them and they came back laden with LEGO goodies. They also got staff lanyards with a name badge, and the LEGO polo shirts are being sent on as they didn't have enough on the day.
While the boys were busy, it was a chance for Adrian and I to have some time together, just to talk and relax.
The fireworks display on Saturday night just topped it all off for us. We'd got the boys special viewing glasses that made the fireworks look like exploding LEGO bricks…I don't know how it worked but it was very clever! Joshua was spellbound!
We went into the big LEGO shop and Joshua bought the police station Lego set he'd been wanting, and because he spent over £60 he got a free box of bricks with lots of different wheels in which on its own was worth £20!
So just wanted to say thank you so, so much for the weekend, it meant so much to all of us. It was just so lovely to see Joshua so happy, and very good for us all to have some family time together (which was severely lacking when Joshua was on treatment) , without the distractions of things needing doing like it would have been at home. No cooking, clearing up or even having to make our beds, that was appreciated so much.

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts,
Sarah, Adrian, Ben and Joshua x
P.S. the police station is under construction as I write!
