Make-A-Wish corporate partners

Working together to grant life-changing wishes

Disney

The Walt Disney Company has been supporting Make-A-Wish worldwide since 1980. They are our biggest global partner with around 10,000 Disney wishes being granted around the world every year.

Make-A-Wish® UK is proud to be one of Disney’s strategic partners here in the UK. Our shared ambition is to grant magical wishes for children with critical illnesses. Creating moments that matter that strengthen the bonds between the seriously ill child and those closest to them. Disney really values the role of granting wishes to strengthen the emotional resilience of children, and to help tackle the social isolation often faced by families with a serious ill child.

Together, we are constantly looking to see how we can improve the impact of Disney wishes whether it’s the child’s wish to go to Disneyland Paris, to meet their favourite character or to see a Disney film premiere.

Other collaborations

Aside from wishes, Disney supports Make-A-Wish through exciting marketing and fundraising collaborations. Our 2019 partnership with Disney, eBay and DanTDM around the launch of ‘Ralph breaks the Internet’ won the prestigious Drum Online Media Award for best Commerical Campaign of the Year.

Kentown Wizard

The Kentown Wizard Foundation has kindly been supporting Make-A-Wish since it was established in 2016. The Foundation awards grants to improve the lives of children and young people living in the UK who are terminally ill or have a life limiting condition.

Each year, Make-A-Wish uses the monies donated from The Kentown Wizard Foundation to fund exclusively wishes for children to travel to Disneyland Paris for their one true wish.

LEA

We are extremely proud of our partnership with Legacy Education Alliance (LEA), who has been an avid supporter of Make-A-Wish UK since 2007. To date LEA has raised over £800,000 by taking on challenges like the Royal Parks Half Marathon, climbing Kilimanjaro or walking the Jurassic Coast, to sponsoring annual flagship Make-A-Wish UK events, and fundraising at their own events like The LEA Awards of Excellence. Over the years, LEA has funded an incredible 250 life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses through their generous support.
