Where should I send the required documentation?

To upload the documentation, please click the 'Submit Documents' button at the bottom of the email you received from Make-A-Wish UK, upon submission of your offer

Will you accept a brand-new item without the original packaging and/or tags?

We aim to deliver high quality wish experiences and therefore can only accept items which are brand new and include the original packaging and tags.

Do I need to have a DBS check in order for my photography / beauty / children entertainment services to be accepted?

Anyone who is directly involved in granting a wish for one of our children is required to provide a DBS check. You can apply for a DBS check via the Gov UK website. Make-A-Wish UK cannot cover the costs of the DBS check.

Will I be able to see the wish that my gift has been used on?

We regularly share our wish stories on both our website and social media channels, where we have the permission from families. It’s not possible for us to share the wish details with every donor, but where we can, we’ll always try to provide you with as much information as possible.

My gift has been declined, why would this happen?

Unfortunately, certain offers and items are not suitable for us to use. We would advise reaching out to some more amazing UK-based charities, listed below, who might benefit from your gift.
