Liz Burris

Liz trained a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, before spending 10 years in various roles within financial services sector. After a career break to raise her children, Liz spent six years as Director of Finance & Corporate Services at Wales Millennium Centre.

Liz joined Make-A-Wish as Finance Director in September 2024, and is passionate about the impact that wishes can bring, not just to the wish child but to the wider family and community.

Liz is proud to be Welsh, lives in Cardiff and is married with two children. In her spare time, Liz enjoys spending time with her family, walking her Cavapoo, Honey and travelling.
