Make-A-Wish special events

Make-A-Wish special events are a collection of exciting events that take place throughout the year to raise vital funds to grant wishes. Past events have included Wish 200 Week, which united the gaming community in support of Make-A-Wish UK, and the exclusive Make-A-Wish Ball, which raised enough money to grant 100 wishes in 2022.

Third-party supporters also host their own events on behalf of the charity in a variety of different formats including golf days, cricket tournaments at the Oval, and summer balls. Through these events we have been lucky enough to hold raffles and auctions featuring incredible money-can’t-buy prizes, as well as hosting a variety of top performers and the biggest stars in the UK. In total, special events at Make A Wish UK have raised £17m and counting.

We also work with the charitable initiative, Art of Wishes, who have organised a series of art auctions, lunches and gala dinners, which you can read about below.

Find upcoming events

Art of Wishes was founded by Make-A-Wish UK Patron, Batia Ofer, in 2017 and is now one of our main fundraising events. Through the generous donations of artists and galleries together with the hard work and dedication of Batia and the Art of Wishes committee, since 2017, Art of Wishes has raised nearly £12m. This has enabled us to grant over 4,400 wishes and change the lives of children living with critical illnesses.
