About Me

I'm based on the sunny South coast between Brighton and Eastbourne, nestled at the foot of the South Downs, and I've worked in a fundraising capacity for the last 4 years, having come from a business and hospitality background.

I fell in love with the drive and dedication of volunteers and how small groups could make a massive impact. It drove me to volunteer and train with St John Ambulance and go on to head up their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion groups in London and the south, as well as nationally later down the line. It's an area I'm passionate about and I'm always happy to lend an opinion!

I love sea swimming and walking (you can’t not, living here!) - life can be pretty hectic with 3 children under 10 but it makes every day interesting and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

My role at Make-A-Wish

As one the Regional Fundraising Managers, I look after the London and the South East, which covers Kent, Sussex, Surrey and, of course, London!

The role is challenging and diverse and enables me to meet supporters directly whether they are community corporates looking for ways to engage their customers or drive strategic giving; passionate individuals taking on a mighty challenge or lots of individuals forming an amazing group of fundraisers!

You can come to me for help and advice on all things fundraising – no idea is too silly, too big or too small – I’ve probably heard them all!

"I love being part of something ground breaking and inspirational and helping a child’s One True Wish become a reality definitely ticks all those boxes!"
