Introducing Amy Watson, 15, from Barnsley...

At the age of 10 I was diagnosed and have since recovered from leukaemia. Make-A-Wish approached me after chemotherapy and offered to grant me a wish. This resulted in them setting up a haunted house where my friends and I were able to follow the story of a missing girl and have a pizza party afterwards with the cast.

I’ve always liked working with big groups of people and I’m always excited to hear other peoples opinions. Some skills I can offer on STARboard are communication and patience, but I’m also great at working in a team and public speaking.

My reason for joining STARboard is so that I can help people achieve and experience their own wish since I understand how hard it can be to find happiness in such a difficult time of their lives.
