Disney's Ralph Breaks the Internet

Our long-standing supporter Disney has joined forces with YouTube star DanTDM and eBay to help raise awareness and money for us, to celebrate the launch of Disney’s new animated movie Ralph Breaks the Internet, out in UK cinemas from 30 November.

DanTDM, who often supports us to make children’s wishes come true, has lent his voice to the character of ‘eBoy’ in the UK version of the film, and also to eBay’s Ralph Breaks the Internet campaign to raise awareness and donations, so that we can continue to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Ways you can get involved

There are three ways you can get involved and help Dan:

1. Donate £1 here and as a special thank you from DanTDM, he’ll feature your name on the credit roll of his video to be released on 13 December! Donate today and help change lives.

2. Bid on limited-edition products signed by DanTDM,  including one of his limited-edition gaming chairs and a Sugar Rush replica steering wheel that Ralph rescues in Ralph Breaks the Internet!

3. Buy a limited edition DanTDM Ralph Breaks the Internet inspired t-shirt and/or poster

By purchasing one of Dan's limited-edition items on eBay* or making a £1 donation – you’ll be making a huge difference to the lives of seriously ill children and young people by granting their One True Wish at a time when they need it most.

We’re hoping to raise over £20,000 from this exciting campaign which will enable us to grant more than 7 life-changing wishes for seriously ill children.

*100% of the sale proceeds will be paid to Make-A-Wish Promotions Ltd (04015443) which passes all of its taxable profits to Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK, a charity registered in England and Wales (295672) and Scotland (SC037479).

How you’ll be helping make a difference

Hundreds of desperately ill children turn to us every year to have their One True Wish made a life-changing reality.

Every wish is as unique as the child who created it, they range from meeting a life-long hero like DanTDM, to going on a once-in-a-lifetime family holiday or being transformed into a princess for the day in a castle.

Whatever their One True Wish is, we want to grant them in the most life-changing way possible. Together, we can create moments that matter for seriously ill children and those closest to them when it's needed the most.

What a wish means to a child living with a critical illness

A wish is more than just a day or week in a child’s life, it’s an experience that will last forever. A child’s life shouldn’t be about illness and treatment, it should be about joy and wonder and by making their One True Wish a reality – you’re giving them the gift of hope and confidence – the chance to look beyond their illness into a future of excitement and joy.

Wishes provide precious memories for the child and their family to treasure forever and you can be part of that. You’ll be helping children like Tiegan. Tiegan’s living with spinal muscular atrophy and wished to meet her idol, DanTDM.

After the wish, Tiegan’s mum told us, “It was indescribable to see her that happy. We got so much out of seeing her so excited.”
