Keira’s pink bedoom makeover!
When Keira told us she wanted a pink princess bedroom makeover, “the pinker the better”, we got down to the job!
Keira, aged four and from Westhoughton, near Bolton, was diagnosed with Wilms’ Tumour, a Cancer of the kidneys, back in April. Since then, she has had one of her kidneys removed and has undergone a course of chemotherapy.
Her Mum, Lisa, told us that Keira has coped really well with everything and that she is really proud of her; she has remained cheerful and been very brave.
Keira loves to bake with her Mum or Grandma and often helps to bake cakes and then decorate them – usually in pink. So it wasn’t a great surprise that her wish was for a very pink princess room and we were happy to oblige. We think you can tell from the photos how happy Keira was in her new room...
