How to sponsor a magical wish
At Make-A-Wish Foundation UK we grant more than 500 wishes a year for children and young people living with life-threatening illnesses.
With 20,000 children in the UK living with life-threatening conditions at any one time, our work is never done and we know that there will always be children waiting to have their magical wish granted.
That's why you can be sure that when you make a donation to Make-A-Wish, however large or small, your money will help us to grant wishes, quickly and effectively, to some of the most deserving young people you can imagine.
Sponsor a Wish
We know that some donors are keen to sponsor the cost of an entire wish themselves, knowing that they've enabled us to make an entire wish come true. However, the cost of granting a wish can vary greatly from a few hundred to many thousands of pounds and it is an important principle of ours that we treat all children equally, regardless of the cost of their wish. This means that with the exception of the most seriously ill children, we simply grant wishes in the order in which they come to us.
