Sponsor a wish

Kallum's Fireman Sam wish
At any one time there are 20,000 children in the UK living with a life-threatening condition and the number of children turning to us for wishes is at record high levels.
As we strive to meet the demand for new wishes, we aim to be granting 1,000 wishes per year by the end of 2012.
That’s why you can be sure that when you make a donation to Make-A-Wish, however large or small, your money will help us to grant wishes, quickly and effectively, to some of the most deserving young people you can imagine.
The cost to fund a wish can vary greatly from a few hundred to many thousands of pounds but we treat all our special children equally, regardless of the cost of their wish.
With the exception of the most seriously ill children, we simply grant wishes in the order in which they come to us.
You could fund a magical wish for a child living with a life-threatening illness today.
At any one time our wishgranters can be working on over 400 wishes– to hear about these and discuss the possibility of becoming a sponsor please contact Ms Ashley Cole on 01276 40 50 84 or ashley.cole@make-a-wish.org.uk
Kevin Green, property magnate, star of Channel 4’s ‘The Secret Millionaire’ and a staunch supporter of ours, has sponsored several wishes and says:
“These youngsters have had many of life’s choices taken away. I still have choices and choose to gift so they can experience their wish of a lifetime through me sponsoring their wish. The lasting memory of gifting a wish stays not only with the child but also with their families – and in my heart."
