Fundraising Volunteer
Purpose:
To support regional and national fundraising activities as well as encouraging others to support Make-A-Wish.
Main Contacts:
- Local businesses
- Other Make-A-Wish volunteers
Key Activities:
- Helping at runs e.g. Great North Run and London Marathon
- Event stands e.g. British Gas, theatres
- Cheque collections e.g. Waitrose
- Collection tins at shops, pubs & restaurants
- Balls and other events e.g. Summertime Blues, Gumball Rally
Skills:
- You’ll need to have good communication skills
- Lots of enthusiasm
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Access to an email account
Time Commitment:
You will be offered specific volunteering opportunities on an ad hoc basis.
