Fundraising Group Member
Purpose:
To fundraise in your local area on behalf of Make-A-Wish
Main Contacts:
- Local community groups
- Other Make-A-Wish volunteers
- Schools
Key Activities:
- You'll be organising events in your local area which raise money and awareness for Make-A-Wish
- These could be anything from a quiz in your local pub or a coffee morning at work to a treasure hunt in the local park or a sporting event with your local school
- You'll be organising the event with a committee and will receive support from Make-A-Wish staff throughout
Skills:
- You'll need to have good communication skills and be highly motivated
- If you have experience in fundraising/events that would be advantageous, but it's not essential
- You just need the motivation to get involved and make a difference
Time Commitment:
As much time as you are able to give! Volunteering can easily fit in around your daily routine, so it's up to you.
