Wish Granted

Rhys with Alex McKay from BBC TV's Ready Steady Cook

Teenager Rhys wanted to learn to cook “proper meals” for his family. Make-A-Wish set up a two-day course at The Kids’ Cookery School in Acton for him, where he was taught how to cook by the professionals. We also arranged a surprise visit from Alex McKay of BBC TV’s Ready Steady Cook, who taught him some culinary skills. Rhys was thrilled to be given a signed copy of Alex’s book to treasure and to learn more recipes from.
