If you're looking for a flat course which features a superb start and finish in the middle of a thriving city that's easy to get to, then look no further!

Starting and finishing only a stone's throw away from the city's main hotels, The LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon is one of the world's best races. The course meanders through the city, taking in 15 neighbourhoods including the Chinese and Hispanic districts, with massive crowd support ensuring that your eyes and ears will be tested to the max! There are plenty of landmarks to see - including the world famous Sears Tower, which seems visible at virtually every turn.

By running the Chicago Marathon for Make-A-Wish you will be helping to grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.

Wish Granted

3-year old Emily wished for a pink bedroom makeover, so the staff and volunteers of Make-A-Wish set about transforming Emily's bedroom into a pink palace. Emily was over the moon and could not hide her excitement as she jumped on her bed to play with her toys in her new pink magical bedroom.
