Kate Garraway is new Make-A-Wish Ambassador
We’re delighted to announce television presenter Kate Garraway as our latest Ambassador.
Kate, pictured at last year's Make-A-Wish Valentine's Ball (a VERY FEW places are still left for this year's Ball), is a long-standing supporter of Make-A-Wish; so much so that after launching her new business venture GoodyPass.com last year, she pledged to donate 5% of the profits to the charity, and last April the entire month’s net profits were donated.
Speaking about her new role with Make-A-Wish, Kate (perhaps best-known for her work on ITV's Daybreak) said: “It is an honour to have been asked to become an Ambassador for Make-A-Wish. I’m really looking forward to being a part of this wonderful charity and the fantastic work it does.”
Neil Jones, Chief Executive of Make-A-Wish, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kate to our team; she has been a key supporter over the last year so we are thrilled to be able to make her an official Ambassador.”
