Have you ever wanted to visit China and see the famous Wall? Well, now is your chance!
Immerse yourself in tradition, history and ancient mythology and experience something others will only dream of. The ideal event for those with a passion for culture, a sense of adventure, and the desire to do something challenging for a good cause.
Stretching 6,300 km from coast to desert, the Great Wall of China is one of the few man-made constructions that can be seen from space. This trip is for anyone who wants to take on a challenge or simply has a dream to visit one the world’s great wonders. You will trek on different sections of the wall, giving you the opportunity to see both original and rebuilt sections of the wall.

Once you have completed this challenge, you will return to Beijing to explore some of the many attractions of China's capital, such as the Forbidden City.

Itinerary
DAY 1:
Depart the UK
DAY 2:
Arrive Beijing for our full trip briefing
DAY 3:
Transfer to Huangyaguan where we commence our trek on the Great Wall
DAY 4:
Huangyaguan to Mountain Village including Heavens Ladder, a steep 200 step climb
DAY 5:
Mountain Village to Jinshanling. Follow the contour of the hills along steep farmers' tracks
DAY 6:
Guebikou to Jinshanling. Bus out to Guebikou then follow the wall back to Jinshanling passing remnants dating back to the Qing Dynasty
DAY 7:
Jinshanling to Mutianyu. Stunning walk towards Simatai before transferring to our accommodation for the night
DAY 8:
Mutianyu to Beijing. Our final walk along one of the most beautiful parts of the Great Wall, after which we head back to Beijing for our celebration meal
DAY 9:
Beijing. Time to explore the city steeped in history and culture
