Reading Half Marathon - March 2013
Join our Run for Wishes team and help grant magical wishes!
With its finish in the impressive Madejski Stadium, home to Reading FC, this superb half marathon, sponsored by Mizuno, is the fastest course in the UK and will see 17,000 runners taking to the streets of Reading.
The race starts at Green Park and winds its way around the town before ending inside the fantastic Madjeski Stadium, which is a moment not to be missed. The day also features a wheelchair half marathon and the Green Park Challenge 3km fun run.
How to sign up
There are two ways to gain a place in the Reading Half Marathon:
You can apply for a charity place where we ask you to pay a deposit of £30 and pledge to raise minimum sponsorship of £300.
Or
If you have secured your own place via the event organisers, please complete our online form to join our team. For runners with their own place we don't set a minimum sponsorship pledge.
Once you have registered we will then send out a fundraising pack to you.
Our events staff will be supporting all our runners with:
- Free Race Day running shirt
- A full training and nutritional programme
- Support emails and running tips
- Personalised sponsorship forms
