Chester Half Marathon - Sunday 13 May 2012

2012 sees the 31st Chester Half Marathon take place over a new fast course, starting at the racecourse and finishing in the City centre, outside the Town Hall and Cathedral.

Ignis Women’s 10K - Sunday 13 May 2012
Be part of our running team and help us grant more magical wishes! Join over 12,000 women on a journey to be part of Scotland's largest all-women 10K road race.
The 2012 Ignis Asset Management Women’s 10k will take place on Sunday 13 May at 10.00am. You can find out more about the event at www.runglasgow.org/10k-2012/.

Karrimor Great Trail Challenge - Sunday 17 June 2012
The Karrimor Great Trail Challenge is a new trail running event, taking place on Sunday 17 June 2012 in the Lake District. From the organisers of the Bupa Great North Run, the event will feature 10km, half marathon and marathon events, all staged on the same day.
Set in one of the UK’s most scenic locations, it starts and finishes in Fitz Park, Keswick and takes in beautiful views of Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite from the path below Skiddaw.
Thousands of people will take part in three events across the day, from established trail runners to walkers and novices, all experiencing an exciting new event in a beautiful area of the UK.

Lisburn 3K Fun Run - Wednesday 20 June 2012
The Fun Run takes place through the centre of the city of Lisburn and is an ideal opportunity for families, including young children, and friends to get together to raise lots of money for Make-A-Wish. A lot of people will run, walk, push and even enter into the spirit of things in fancy dress to ensure a bright spectacle on the streets of Lisburn.
Last year's event was tremendous fun and we had more than 40 people Running for Wishes – let's see if we can beat that total in 2012!

Redcar Half Marathon – Sunday 30 September 2012
This year’s 30th Redcar Half Marathon takes place on a fast, accurately measured, all tarmac 13.1 mile course starting and finishing on the sea front in Redcar. ChampionChip timing will be used, and the race run under UK Athletics rules.
