Join our Run for Wishes team and help grant magical wishes!
Make-A-Wish is one of the official charities for the Liverpool Marathon.
By running the Liverpool Marathon for Make-A-Wish, featuring a route lined with iconic landmarks including three parks and the Mersey Tunnel, you will be helping to grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.
How to sign up
There are two ways to gain a place in the Liverpool Marathon:
You can apply for a charity place where we ask you to pay a deposit of £50 (NOW JUST £25 - SPECIAL OFFER UNTIL THE END OF MAY 2012!) and pledge to raise minimum sponsorship of £500.
Or
You can gain your own place directly from the race organisers. Once you have your own place please complete our online form to join our team. For runners with their own place we don't set a minimum sponsorship pledge.
Once you have registered we will then send out a fundraising pack to you.
Our events staff will be supporting you all the way with:
- Free training and named Race Day running shirt
- A full training and nutritional programme
- Support emails and running tips
- Personalised sponsorship forms
- Race Day PR and photography
- Post-race reception with massage, food and drink and medal presentation
