Joanne joined Make-A-Wish in September 2003 after a career in Marketing Communications, Human Resources and PR. Initially working part time as a Wishgranting Co-ordinator, Joanne broadened her Make-A-Wish knowledge with a year of working in the fundraising department. This has stood her in good stead in her new role as Wishgranting Manager.

"Understanding the hard work that goes into raising the funds Make-A-Wish needs to grant our magical wishes enables me to make sure every penny spent on a wish really counts. Aside from that, I aim to make sure every child who has a Make-A-Wish wish has a truly magical experience."
