Amanda was initially a fundraising volunteer for Make-A-Wish. However, as time went on and Amanda started to meet the children, she realised that it was wonderful to be part of such a worthwhile cause. When the opportunity of a job came up in Scotland, Amanda went for it straight away.

Amanda's favourite wish was the day Sean's wish to become a soldier was granted. The streets of Glasgow came to a standstill as an army tank directed by five year old Sean made it's way to the barracks - it was incredible! The smile on Sean's face and the joy of his family when the wish came true was pure magic.
