Trustees
- David Maloney
David became Make-A-Wish's Chairman in February 2008. A chartered accountant, David currently holds a number of positions, including Chairman of Hoseasons Holidays and non-executive director of Micro Focus International plc, Carillion plc and Cineworld plc.
- Anne-Catherine Buxton
Anne has been a Trustee of Make-A-Wish since November 2007 and involved with different children's charities for a number of years.
- Malcolm Jones
Malcolm is a chartered accountant and Finance Director of Barclays International Private Banking: he has been a Trustee of Make-A-Wish since November 2007.
- Jayne Watson
Jayne has been a Make-A-Wish volunteer for many years and a Trustee since 2003. She has worked at Oxford University for more than thirty years.
- Michael Cash
A solicitor with Penningtons, Mike specialises in private client and trust work and has been a Trustee since 2006. His son, Arthur, was granted a wish from Make-A-Wish in 2005.
- Pippa Carte
Until the end of 2011, Pippa was Director of Development at WWF, one of the UK’s largest charities. At the beginning of 2012, she took up a position as Director of Development at the new Children’s Museum in London. Pippa has been a Trustee of Make-A-Wish since January 2011.
- John Orriss
John is Director of Sales and Customer Growth at BSkyB and became a Trustee in July 2011.
- Graham Stapleton
Having worked for Marks and Spencer, B and Q and Kingfisher, Graham is the Chief Commercial Officer at Carphone Warehouse and also became a Trustee in July 2011.
- Susan Gent
After starting her career by qualifying as a solicitor, Susan has subsequently held senior posts in both the commercial and charity sectors. She is currently Head of Legal at WWF, a position she has held since 2006, and became a Trustee of Make-A-Wish in January 2012.
- Tim Cook
Tim heads the Information Officers Practice of Russell Reynolds, one of the world’s leading executive search consultants. In his personal time, his fundraising efforts have included leading the world’s first rowing expedition along 1,000km of the Upper Zambezi, to the Victoria Falls. Tim has been a Trustee since January 2012.
