Join our team and help grant magical wishes
Sorry, we have no more bonded places available for the 2010 race – but if you have successfully obtained your own place, we would love you to run on our behalf.
By running the BUPA Great North Run for Make-A-Wish you will be helping to grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.
Our events staff will be supporting you all the way with:
- Free training and named Race Day running shirt
- A full training and nutritional programme
- Support emails and running tips
- Personalised sponsorship forms
- Race Day PR and photography
- Post-race reception with massage, food and drink and medal presentation

Wish Granted
Make-A-Wish arranged for three year old Alicia to meet Peppa Pig, her favourite children’s character, when she returned to her playgroup after a spell in hospital due to the Acute Myeloid Leukaemia she lives with. There was barely a dry eye in the house when Alicia rushed over to greet Peppa with a big hug and a kiss!
