ARAMARK Northern Ireland helps grant wishes for children

ARAMARK's inaugural Cupcake Campaign

ARAMARK Northern Ireland, a leading contract catering and facilities management company, recently presented Make-A-Wish with a cheque for nearly £7,000.

The money was raised by staff through various fun-filled activities held throughout the year in aid of the ARAMARK Charitable Fund. These included Easter Baskets, quiz sheets, runners in the Lisburn half-marathon, a sponsored walk in Tollymore Forest, fun days held in Omagh and Belfast and a Viking Boat Race in Killyleagh, Co. Down.

This year, the company also hosted their inaugural ARAMARK Cupcake Campaign – see our picture. All their efforts were wholeheartedly supported by colleagues and customers alike.

Christine Magee, Regional Managing Director of ARAMARK Northern Ireland, said: “We were delighted to support Make-A-Wish throughout the year and I would like to congratulate all staff who organised and took part in the various activities and helped raise valuable funds for the charity.”

Gail McKee, Make-A-Wish Fundraising Manager for Northern Ireland, commented: “We are so grateful to ARAMARK Northern Ireland for their wonderful donation, which will help us achieve our goal this year of helping as many children as possible in Northern Ireland. Make-A-Wish relies totally on the generosity of companies such as ARAMARK and the general public at large to raise the funds to grant its magical wishes. A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to this wonderful fundraising achievement.”
