Make-A-Wish aims to grant 1,000 wishes per year and to do this we need your donations. Even the smallest donation goes a long way at Make-A-Wish and is used to continue our vital work. There are many ways to donate:

If you are taking part in a sponsored event or organising a challenge event for Make-A-Wish, you can set up your very own Make-A-Wish branded fundraising webpage at either Justgiving or Virgin Money Giving.

Weddings - Many couples now ask their wedding guests to donate to
Make-A-Wish rather than have a traditional wedding list.
Wedding Favours & Place Cards – We can supply both Make-A-Wish Wedding Favours and table Place Cards for your happy day, at very competitive rates.

Your old mobile can help us
One of our corporate supporters, Steelite, who’ve supported us since the start of last year, looked into this and managed to collect 21 old handsets in one afternoon! So come on, please help us to raise money AND look after the environment by making sure these handsets don’t end up in landfill sites. Ask your colleagues; and don’t forget to ask whoever’s in charge of the work mobiles what they do with the old ones!

For the last five years Make-A-Wish Foundation UK has been working alongside Flying Club, Virgin Atlantic Frequent Flyer programme to help grant wishes for children wanting to Swim with Dolphins and go to Disney Florida. Members of Flying Club donate their Flying Club miles to a Make-A-Wish dedicated account which in turn allows us to book flights where we only pay the flight taxes.
Without the support of both the staff and members of Flying Club we would not be able to continue granting these wishes. Make-A-Wish grants around 100 of these wishes per year and each Wish Child receives the very best care and attention as you would expect when flying with Virgin Atlantic.
If you are a member, with miles to spare and wish to help with this magical Wishgranting process, then please contact your Flying Club helpline and donate now! If you are not a member and you know someone who is a member then please encourage them to donate.
