There are many ways our corporate partners can help Make-A-Wish fundraise without being your nominated charity of the year. On this page you can find some examples of other fundraising activities that we hope will be of interest to you.

1. Cause Related Marketing

Cause Related Marketing enables companies to build a partnership with the charity to market an image, product or service.

Why do it?

Customers and employees will be able to help bring sunshine into the lives of the children we serve, promoting a "feel good" factor among employees.
Make-A-Wish is a strong brand in its own right - not only will you be fulfilling your commitment to the community but you will be working with a well-known and respected children's charity.
Build trust and engage with consumers.
Reinforce your credentials as a socially responsible brand.

An example of a recent Cause Related Marketing campaign - Cadbury

Cadbury is now supporting Make-A-Wish in both the UK and Ireland for the next three years. Our logo will appear on most of its Easter egg and Christmas packaging in 2010 and 2011. Cadbury’s support will enable Make-A-Wish in the UK alone to grant over 100 magical wishes over three years, which is wonderful and a huge contribution to our work.

2. Employee Fundraising

Employee fundraising has real benefits for employer, employee and for Make-A-Wish. By encouraging your staff to work together on fundraising projects, you give them the opportunity to develop team working and acquire new skills. Not only can this improve staff morale and motivation, it can enhance your company's image with staff, suppliers and the community.

A dedicated account manager will work with your company - to help you create a tailored programme on an individual, branch, local or UK-wide level.

3. Sponsorship

Sponsor one of our events to forge a strong, relevant relationship between your brand and the charity. By sponsoring us, your company can also create an emotional resonance with event participants.

But sponsorship needn't be confined to events - we are always ready to explore other opportunities which provide mutually beneficial marketing and press coverage for both brands.

4. In-kind support

Companies can donate their products and services to the charity. This support is entirely relevant to their business and encourages goodwill amongst staff and customers. If you would like to help fund our offices, office supplies or wages please contact info@make-a-wish.org.uk to discuss.
