Emma joins us from Cancer Research UK where she enjoyed a successful career in fundraising and volunteer management.

Her role at Make-A-Wish is the culmination of many years’ experience:

"I feel very proud and privileged to be part of Make-A-Wish. I myself love volunteering and have been a volunteer for many different charities over the last 25 years.

"Our volunteers contribute their valuable time, talent and expertise to bring unforgettable moments to the lives of children living with life-threatening illnesses – they bring children hope, strength and joy."

A lover of all sports, outdoor pursuits and charity challenges, Emma has run a number of marathons, completed the Four Peaks Challenge several times, trekked the Inca Trail in Peru and most recently ran The Great Wall of China Marathon.
