Before joining Make-A-Wish, Chrissy worked for five years at Perennial (previously Gardeners' Royal Benevolent Society) as Marketing & Fundraising Manager. Prior to this, she volunteered for over two and a half years for a couple of local charities – which is where she got her passion for volunteering and the determination to make every volunteering experience a positive one.

Chrissy previously worked in the commercial sector in several IT and Marketing managerial roles. Her role within Make-A-Wish is to develop and support our valuable volunteers around the UK.

Chrissy said: "I am thrilled to be part of this enthusiastic and passionate organisation. At a time when many charities are struggling to grow their volunteer teams, Make-A-Wish continues to receive unprompted offers of help from the general public. Volunteers are at the very heart of our organisation and I hope to be able to persuade many more people that by volunteering their time and energy, they too can share in the happiness and magic of granting wishes to some very special children."
